This SQLite tutorial explains how to use the SQLite IN Condition with syntax and examples.

 

Description:
The SQLite IN condition is used to help reduce the need to use multiple OR conditions in a SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement.

 
Syntax:

 

Parameters or Arguments:

expressions

A value to test.

value1, value2, … value_n

The values to test against expression.

Note: The SQLite IN condition will return the records where expression is value1, value2…, or value_n. The SQLite IN condition is also called the SQLite IN operator.

 

Examples:
The following SQLite statement selects all employee’s with a position of “developer” or “designer”:

id name position hire_date
100 chiru developer 1/1/2014
103 nithya developer 6/1/2013
104 jaya developer 1/1/2014
105 uma designer 1/1/2013
